Status
[Feb 2013] The Dioszegia cryoxerica genome was
sequenced using the Illumina platform and assembled with AllPathsLG
release version R43241 (Gnerre
et al., 2010). SNP count is fairly high at 1/395, which
sometimes indicates that this could be diploid assembly.
The initial annotation 'FilteredModels1' included 1747 potential
gene duplicates due to the possible diploidy of the assembly. These
were removed in 'FilteredModels2'.
A 36 Kb mitochondrial genome was assembled separately and is
available in the download section.
